Barnstormer’s Workshop is a full-service aircraft maintenance facility offering quality restorations, repairs, and general aircraft maintenance. Barnstormer’s workshop buys and sells aircraft as well. Owner David Harwell is a third-generation aviation enthusiast who holds an A&P license, inspection authorization, and private pilot’s license. The Candler Field Flying Club exists to offer affordable flight instruction. On occasion, the club offers glider flights at Peach State Aerodrome to the public for a nominal fee. The purpose of the Ron Alexander Youth Aviation Program is to provide aviation interested youth guidance, mentorship, and the opportunity to restore and maintain aircraft in exchange for flight time towards a sport pilot or private pilot’s certificate.
